Theaterkantoor introduced a unique live concept across the Netherlands:
Lay Down Concerts at special locations, featuring piano music by well known composers. Visitors brought their own mat or airbed and experienced the music lying down. Intimate, calming and completely different from a traditional concert setting.
They asked us to set up TikTok from scratch.
Instead of promoting shows directly, we focused on translating the feeling of the experience to short form video. Slow moments, emotional reactions, close ups of the setting and the contrast between silence and sound. Content designed to stop the scroll and spark curiosity.
The result within 3 months:
- Over 5 million views
- 750k likes
- +15,000 followers
- All concerts sold out for the entire year
A strong example of how the right platform, paired with a clear creative direction, can turn a niche cultural concept into a scalable success.
The collaboration lasted for one year, after which the company was sold to a new owner with a different vision.
